The Forbidden Gardens Museum was built in the 1990s in Katy,Texas by a Chinese businessman who wanted to share an awareness of his native country's cultural icons. Among these was a replica of the excavated terra cotta warriors placed 2000 years ago around the tomb Emperor Qin, China's first emperor, near Xi’an, China. Some 4000 1/3 scale warrior replicas (about 2 feet tall) were hand made in China and brought here for installation. Each one is unique in detail, color and patina.
The museum closed in 2011 after which I salvaged a number of statues and pieces which are now offered for sale. I am the only person offering the remnants and one of only a couple of people who have the statues for sale.
Private showings in Houston also can be arranged.
